This past Sunday during our Early Day Car Cruise-In event, the Fairfield Community Fire Company received a very generous donation. Mr. Dannie Holsinger and his wife Anna presented a ten thousand ($10,000.00) dollar check to Fire Chief William Jacobs. Their donation will be used in the purchase our new Special Unit apparatus that was recently approved by members of the Company.

The Holsinger's have been great supporters of our department for many years and we appreciate their continued generosity. Several years ago they donated to our Fire Company and also helped us purchase the 1928 Chemical Wagon. This apparatus was originally used by our department but later sold. This 1928 Chemical Wagon has been restored and now is a beautiful and historic addition for our Department.

The past two years the Holsinger's have also been sponsors for our Annual Outdoor Cash Event. On behalf of the Board, Line Officers and Members of Fairfield Community Fire Company we want to express our appreciation for everything they have done and continue to do for our community. WE THANK YOU!
