Earlier tonight Company 2 responded to a Helicopter Standby call for an injured person from the local ski resort. The helicopter landing zone was established at the Mid Atlantic Soaring Association behind Ski Liberty, the injured person was transported via helicopter to a local hospital for medical treatment.... Recently, Carroll Valley residents Ann and Dannie Holsinger presented a check for $30,000.00 to the Fairfield Community Fire Company. Their donation is to support the purchase of a Brand New Special Unit. The new Special Unit fire apparatus will be arriving in late 2027.
