At approximately 8:32 PM tonight, Company 2 responded to a report of a brush fire on Camp Gettysburg Road in Freedom Township. Upon arrival, responders found a tree along the roadside on fire and producing smoke. Crews from Fairfield and Barlow Fire Departments worked together at the scene to extinguish the fire. Early this morning, Fire Police from Company 2 assisted with parking vehicles at Ski Liberty Resort in Fairfield. Visitors were attending the Fallen Firefighters Ceremony being held in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The parking lot was busy and filled with people heading to the event.
