Volunteers Take in 2 Runs For Today
By Deputy Chief Adam Jacobs
April 6, 2020

Just after noon the Volunteers started off with a residential fire alarm in the 2-4 box while en-route Adams advised that the homeowner contacted the alarm company and advised it was a false trip wishing to cancel. DC2 placed the box in service. The second call sent the Brush, Special Unit and Engine to Mcglaughlin road for a Brush fire. Units arrived and quickly knocked approximately quarter of an acre fire which was caused by the home owner burning a burn pile. We would like to stress after one our of sunlight grasses and brush can burn even know the ground is wet the top will burn. PLEASE use caution when burning Thank you!
