| On Friday evening, July 3rd, at approximately 5:57 PM in Hamiltonban Township, Company 2 responded to a motor vehicle accident on Cold Springs Road. Upon arrival, responders found that a motorcyclist traveling eastbound had crashed off the roadway. First aid was administered at the scene, and the driver was transported by AREMS Ambulance to a designated landing zone in the Teaberry Parking Lot in Michaux State Forest near Cold Springs Road.
When the medivac helicopter arrived, the patient was transferred onto the aircraft and transported to a local hospital for further medical care. No further information is available on the motorcyclist. Pennsylvania State Police also responded and are investigating.
