Afternoon accident with entrapment

Around Lunch company 2 was dispatched for a vehicle accident with one into a building. RE2 responded with 4 and the Deputy Chief. Before arrival Adams advised they received further information was the driver did not in fact hit a building, but they hit a tree and were trapped in the vehicle. RE 2 arrived and confirmed entrapment which brought Rescue 1. RE 2's crew stabilized the car and started extrication. Once Rescue 1 arrived they assisted in extrication. The extrication took approximately 45 mins. One patient was transported to Meritus medical center by AREMS.
